【摘要】:1.1Thetestmethodestablishestheproceduresforevaluationofthedeformationsofaturfreinforcementmat(TRM)undershort-termcompressiveloading.Thistestmethodisstrictlyanindextestmethodtobeusedtoverifythecompressivestrengthconsistencyofagivenmanufacturedgeosynthetic.Resultsfromthistestmethodshouldnotbeconsideredanindicationofactualorlong-termperformanceoftheTRMinfieldapplications.1.2SincetheseTRMsexperiencemultidirectionalcompressiveloadingsinthefield,thistestmethodwillnotshowactualfieldperformanceandshouldnotbeusedforthisspecificobjective.TheevaluationoftheresultsalsoshouldrecognizethatthedeterminationoftheshorttermsingleplanecompressivebehaviorofgeosyntheticsdoesnotreflecttheinstalledperformanceofTRMsand,therefore,shouldnotbeusedastheonlymethodofproductorperformancespecification.1.3ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
