【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsdeterminethetotalchlorinecontentofaromaticisocyanatesusedaspolyurethanerawmaterials.Thedifferencebetweenthetotalchlorinecontentandthehydrolyzablechlorinecontent(seeTestMethodD4663)isameasureoftheamountofo-dichlorobenzeneandotherring-substitutedchlorinatedproductsthatarepresent.Bothproceduresareapplicabletoavarietyoforganiccompoundsbuttheamountofsampleusedmayhavetobevaried.(SeeNote1.)ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnoequivalentISOstandard.
